The AGS is committed to upholding the highest standards of excellence in gerbil care and breeding. Gerbils should be breed not only for excellent colors and conformation, but also for health and temperament. When purchasing a gerbil from an AGS breeder you should receive the appropriate registration information, care instructions, and an AGS pedigree.
Although we hope that all AGS members uphold our high standard, we can make no guarantee. Consider asking for two references before adopting a gerbil from any breeder.
