I believe that with a little more muscle tone this gerbil will do quite well in a show; Id love to judge him in person. Be careful with photographing near a window because the colors can get washed out and you do not know if it is the gerbil’s color or the effect of the sunlight. This is a really nice boy.

This is another example of picture quality, as the color is not vibrant on this gerbil as the standard requires. I suspect it is a case of the sunlight washing the color out not the gerbil. This guy would do better being photographed away from the window. He has nice bulk and he has nice whiskers the picture also appears that he has white hairs on his face where there shouldn’t be any. I really like him!
